Rene G. Doria: BS Math, BYU-Hawaii; MS in Statistics, BYU-Provo. Investment Analyst; CFA Charter Holder; teaching statistics in higher education for the last 30 years, served a full-time LDS mission in the Philippines for 2 years.
Jenneth B. Doria: DNP MS RN; BSN, University of the Philippines College of Nursing; MS University of Utah, DNP; Chatham University. George and Delores Eccles Fellow. Member, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. Assistant Clinical Professor, University of Utah. With 32 years of nursing practice in acute care and behavioral care settings. Founded Manila Development and Manila Basketry. Utah Asian Chamber of Commerce Awardee. A mother of 7 children, humanitarian, educator, & social entrepreneur.
Paul Staples: BS in Human Resource Development, , Real Estate Broker and Investor, Hawaii and Illinois; extensive background in real estate sales, contract negotiations and customer service; Bishop of an LDS BYU-Hawaii Ward, Served as a volunteer for over 20 years helping the youth and as an employment specialist helping people find jobs.
Lolita Staples: Three years of college, performed accounting responsibilities for over 10 years in real estate office preparing taxes, budgets and handling real estate investments, served as a volunteer helping young women with challenges, volunteered as an office manager for an LDS Employment Resource Center.
Emmie Comer: DNP, MS RN; BSN, University of Cebu College of Nursing; MS University of Utah; DNP, Chatham University. Lawson Scholar. A nurse, educator and humanitarian who is passionate about relief of suffering, and making a difference in the lives of people she meets. She recognizes the value of work and service as some of the secrets to fulfillment and happiness in life. She is amazed and grateful to many generous individuals and organizations who have supported her many humanitarian projects throughout the years.
Aida Mattingley: Professional teacher-librarian; initiated the Filipino Fireside; "community servant" for 38 years: served as Chair/Pres: Utah Humanities Council, Bountiful Davis Art Center, Governor Asian Council, SLCW, PPGC, etc.; board member: state & city/ art councils, Zoo Arts & Parks, 2002 Olympic Arts & Cultural Advisory, USOE, etc. Recipient of Governor’s awards, YWCA, Hall of Fame: featured: in 2002 Olympic project: Utah Women of achievement, Past and present; Book: Profiles of Notable Filipino Americans; Filipino Americans from 1763 to the Present, their History, Culture and Traditions, by Velti Cesar Bautista, etc.
