IHHELPP PARTNERS WITH CRISTO REY HIGH SCHOOL 
       IHHELPP President, Rene Doria, and VP for Communications, Jenneth Doria visited Cristo Rey High School and met with Dr. Arlene P. Apostol, Principal I, and Elizabeth Estabillo, Senior High School Focal Person, to officially establish a partnership between IHHELPP and Cristo Rey High School.
     
      A team of senior high school student-volunteers writes and publishes newsletters, articles, and blog posts for IHHELPP  since  the beginning   of   2016. IHHELPP will assist Cristo Rey High School   in   its   future   programs and courses.

TRADE SCHOOL SITE IN CAMILING  
      
Paul Staples, VP for Operations, and Lolita Staples, Treasurer, together with the student-volunteers from Cristo Rey High School visited 1.7 hectares of land in Camiling, Tarlac as the site for the proposed technical vocational trade school.

    "This is a good and wide place to start our trade school,” said Paul Staples. “I know it will help a lot of students in the future.”

CEB LIVELIHOOD BOOMS IN LEYTE
      IHHELPP President, Rene, also worked  with Rise and Rebuild, another public foundation which provided employment to over 70 workers in its  expanding Compressed Earth Blocks (CEBs) factory in Leyte. This livelihood program was instrumental in building more than 100 public restrooms and provided potable water to 10 communities in the province.

IHHELPP PARTNERS WITH TOGORON OUTREACH
       IHHELPP partnered with Joseph Duano, founder of Togoron Education Outreach for the latter’s pilot project: the distribution of school supplies to
Togoron, Masbate.  

      “The Togoron Educational Outreach was designed with the vision similar to that of BYU-Hawaii’s,” said Duano. “ We want to help children become men and women of pure gold- a people of integrity, humility, and wisdom”

RESTROOM BLESSES SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY IN PINIT  
      IHHELPP, together with EDUCO and Trekking for Kids, completed a restroom and a drinking facility in Pinit Elementary School in Ligao, Albay, a project led by LDS returned missionaries Max Moncur, Wiley Rupp, Jakob Van Boerum, and Ammon Haymond. 

      The restroom features a boys’ toilet with a urinal and a bowl, a girl’s toilet with two cubicles with bowls, and a drinking/washing faucet installed outside the toilets.

IHHELPP HELD 2017 GALA OF GRATITUDE AND GIVING
IHHELPP held its 3rd annual Gala of Gratitude and Giving to acknowledge those who have assisted the foundation in its mission, increase awareness of its goals, and present its vision to build a technical school that can empower the poor through building skills and entrepreneurship.
