IHHELPP builds another restroom for Sta. Elena Elementary School in Bula, Camarines Sur, Philippines, finished on the 3rd week of August.
The finished restroom has two sections: one for males with a bowl and a urinal, and another for females with two cubicles. The restroom also features a wash area at the entrance.
“We started the project on the 20th of May,” said Apollo Tabelisma, project manager for IHHELPP. “We finished on the 3rd week of August.”
The project aims to provide clean restrooms to students, teachers and the community. It also aims to spread awareness of hygienic practices in the campus.
“Restrooms are the most needed facility in school,” said Anna Fe Guinoo, Principal of Sta. Elena Elementary School “ This project will help the students and also the community to promote its gender and development program by providing separate restrooms for males and females. It also promotes proper hygienic practices like hand washing. We are grateful to be chosen as the recipient of IHHELPP’s good will.”
IHHELPP formed a team of skilled workers in San Clemente, Tarlac to construct restrooms for its projects. Watch how this employment opportunity blessed the lives of its workers and the community where they serve.
